List of Dividends announced in 2021, qualification and payment dates

Dividend season is here once again, as the listed companies on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) release financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2021.

The Directors of several companies have proposed the payment of dividends to shareholders. However, the proposed dividends are subject to shareholders’ approval at the Annual General Meeting of the individual companies later in the year.

Here is the list of the dividends announced in 2021 with the qualification dates and payment dates in alphabetical order for easy navigation.

Bonus Share

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc ( NGX: JBERGER): 1 (One) new Ordinary Share for every 99 (Ninety- Nine) existing Ordinary shares held by shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members at the close of business on 28 May 2021.

Linkage Assurance Plc (NGX: LINKASSURE): Two (2) new share for every five (5) existing shares held by shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members at the close of business on Friday 30th April 2021, subject to the approval of  the appropriate regulatory authorities.

Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc (NGX: STANBIC): One new Ordinary Share for every Six existing Ordinary Shares held by Shareholders in the Capital of the Company as at close of business on Thursday 10 June 2021 (subject to Shareholders’ and Regulatory Approvals).

Red Star Express Plc (NGX: REDSTAREX): One (1) new share for every 33 ordinary shares held as at the close of business on Friday, 3rd September 2021.

Cutix Plc: (NGX: CUTIX):  One (1) new share for every One (1) existing share held by shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members at the close of business on Friday, November 12, 2021, subject to the approval of the appropriate regulatory authorities.

AIICO Insurance Plc (NGX: AIICO): 12 (twelve) new bonus shares for every 9 (nine) ordinary shares held by existing shareholders of the Company as at November 23, 2021. These shares will be issued from the share premium account (8 shares) and the retained earnings (4 shares) and are being issued to enable the Company to meet up with the new minimum capital requirement as directed by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM)

    I have not been getting my dividends and all efforts to reach them is not working well.

      Sorry for the late reply. Below are the answers to your query. For not receiving dividends, have you done E-Dividend Mandate for those particular shares or for any other company with the same Registrars?

      FCMB: Cardinal Stone Registrars. We reported recently of their Dividend declaration for 2022.
