A bridge in Enugu along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway collapsed on Monday Morning. This is according to a statement by Dan Nwomeh, the Head of Media to the Office of Enugu State Governor.

In a statement on X (formerly twitter), the head of media to Governor Peter Mbah, stated that the bridge collapsed along the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway between New Artisan and Naira Triangle.
He advised motorists to avoid that route, and added that Federal and State officials were already at the scene.

Dan Nwomeh did not disclose if there were casualties from the collapse of the Bridge.
