Cornerstone Insurance Plc (NGX: CORNERST) has announced a 27k final dividend for the period ended 31 December, 2024.
The proposed dividend is subject to withholding tax and shareholders approval.

- Qualification date: July 7, 2025
- Payment date: July 29, 2025
The dividends will be paid electronically on July 29, 2025, to shareholders who have completed their e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay dividends directly into their bank accounts.
Shareholders who have not yet completed their e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form from www.cornerstone.com.ng and submit it to the Registrar (Lighthouse Registrars Limited) or their respective banks.
The company also advises shareholders with unclaimed dividend warrants and share certificates to complete the e-dividend registration or contact the Registrar.
The company will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Agip Recital Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos, on July 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
Cornerstone Insurance Plc’s financial statement for the year ended 31 December 2024 shows that the Group’s insurance revenue increased from ₦25.9 billion in 2023 to ₦38.7 billion in 2024, representing a 49.22% increase.
Similarly, the profit for the year (profit after tax) significantly grew 87.11% from ₦13.8 billion in 2023 to ₦25.9 billion in 2024, mainly due to N30.8 billion reported as Net gain from foreign exchange.
The share price rose 0.81% on Friday, closing the week at N3.73 per share.
