PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc (NGX: PZ) has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public of delay in filing its Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 May, 2023, which was due by 29 August, 2023.

In a regulatory filing on Thursday, PZ explained that it was unable to comply with the deadline because the audit process of the financial statements is still ongoing.
The statement by the company went further to state that there are still some assurance processes necessary to complete the audit.
PZ affirmed that on or before the end of September 2023, it should be in a position to confirm when the Audited Financial Statements will be released to the market.
Investogist on Monday reported that PZ Cussons (Holdings) Limited has expressed it intention to acquire the shares held by all the other shareholders of PZCN, subject to prevailing market conditions, at an offer price of ₦21 per share.
