DAAR Communications Plc NGX: (DAARCOMM) has issued a formal response to recent online reports concerning alleged irregularities in its corporate records, describing the publication as misleading.
In a statement posted on the Nigerian Exchanges, the conpany addressed a Nairametrics article published on April 29, 2026, titled CAC denies manipulation of DAAR Communications records after cyber attack.”
The company stated that it neither authorised nor contributed to the publication.
DAAR Communications stated that it had previously notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and the CAC about discrepancies observed in its shareholding records on the CAC portal
The company emphasizes that no changes to its shareholding structure have been approved by the Board or effected through the applicable statutory processes.

They reassured stakeholders that its operations remain stable and uninterrupted. Broadcast, commercial, and digital activities across its platforms are continuing without any impact from the reported issues.
The company pledged to maintain close engagement with regulators — including the SEC, CAC, and NGX — through official channels to resolve the discrepancies.
