Domestic airline operators in Nigeria have increased air fare to various locations across the country as seen by the amounts on their websites with an economy ticket for an Air Peace flight from Port Harcourt to Lagos on Thursday 28 July costing N150,000, Arik costs N93,429 while Ibom Air cost N71,000.
A further check showed that the cost of Air Peace flight from Lagos to Port Harcourt on Thursday 28 July is 75,000, while Lagos to Kano cost N85,000 for an economy ticket.
However, Arik Air flight from Lagos to Port Harcourt on Thursday 28 July cost N66,407 for an economy ticket. Ibom Air do not have for Thursday whereas Friday 29 July flight from Lagos to Port Harcourt costs N85,000.
The lowest price for Air Peace flights were pegged at N70,000 from the month of August, against N50,000 charged recently. For Arik Air the base price was N56,762 while Ibom Air was N71,000.

In February Air Peace flight from Lagos to Port Harcourt can go as low as N22,500.
