Nestle Nigeria Plc (NGX: NESTLE) has announced a final dividend of N36.50 per 50 kobo ordinary share for the 31st December, 2022, an N11.00 improvement on the N25.50 final dividend paid in 2021.
The dividend will be paid from the current year profit and will be subject to the appropriate withholding tax and subject to approval of shareholders.

Nestle declared an interim dividend of N25.00 during the year, thus bringing its total dividend for 2022 to N61.50. At its current share price of N1,080.30, the dividend yield is 5.69%.
The qualification date for the announced dividend is 21st April, 2023, while the dividend will be paid electronically to the shareholders who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrars to pay their dividend directly into their Bank accounts.
For the 2022 financial year, Nestle Nigeria reported a profit of N48.96bn and an earnings per share of N61.77.
