United Bank for Africa Plc (NGX: UBA) has rescheduled the meeting of its Board of Directors to consider the Group Audited Accounts and Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2022, as well as proposals for the Final Dividend amongst others.
The meeting will now hold on February 9, 2023 instead of February 13, 2023 as earlier announced by the group
This was disclosed by the bank in corporate action document published on the Nigerian Exchange on Tuesday.
The disclosure in is line with listing rules of the Nigerian Exchange Limited for listed companies.
UBA said that the previously announced closed period for trading in the Bank’s shares, which commenced on January 1, 2023, shall continue until 24 hours after the release of the Group Audited Accounts and Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2022, to the Nigerian Exchange Limited, in compliance with the post listing requirements of the Nigerian Exchange Limited for listed companies.
“Accordingly, no Director, person discharging managerial responsibility, employee with sensitive information, adviser, and consultant of the Bank and their connected persons may directly or indirectly deal in the Securities (Shares and Bonds) of the Bank during the closed period,” it added.
