After Match Day 3, the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament shows the following results.
Friday 11 June
Group A: Turkey 0-3 Italy (Rome)
Saturday 12 June
Group A: Wales 1-1 Switzerland (Baku)
Group B: Denmark 0-1 Finland (Copenhagen)
Group B: Belgium 3-0 Russia (St Petersburg)
Sunday 13 June
Group D: England 1-0 Croatia (London)
Group C: Austria 3-1 North Macedonia (Bucharest)
Group C: Netherlands 3-2 Ukraine (Amsterdam)
From the results above, we have not noticed major upsets. While Italy kicked off to a winning start after missing out at the 2018 World Cup, England made history by winning their first match on opening day in a European Championships.
Proceedings in the match between Denmark and Finland were suspended on Match Day 2 following the collapse of Denmark midfielder, Christian Eriksen. Hostilities commenced just less than two hours later after it was confirmed the player was awake and stabilized in a nearby hospital.
