Transcorp Hotels Plc (NGX: TRANSCOHOT) has declared a dividend of 13 kobo per ordinary share, subject to appropriate withholding tax.
The dividend which is higher than the 7 kobo dividend paid for the 2021 financial year, will also be subject to shareholders declaration of same as final at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM), holding Monday, April 3, 2023 by at 10.00am at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, 1 Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama.

The dividend yield today, the day of declaration of the dividend is 2.00%, with the company’s share price at N6.50.
The qualification date for the dividend has been set as Friday, March 17, 2023.
On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at Friday, March 17, 2023 and who have completed the edividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, which is also available on our website: https://www.transcorphotels.com/investor-relations/investorresources/complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
Shareholders with dividend warrants and share certificates that have remained unclaimed or are yet to be presented for payment or returned for validation are advised to complete the e-dividend registration or contact the Registrar
Transcorp Hotels Plc posted a profit of N2.61bn (2021: N1.11bn) for the financial year, and n earnings per share of 26 kobo.
