The top gainers are NGXGROUP 7.26%, GUINNESS 1.45%, MANSARD 5.00% and ARDOVA
6.90%.
CONOIL led the deciners table as it fell 9.95%, followed by CAVERTON with 9.65%, and CHAMPION with 8.00% decrease.
The market sentiment was mixed as the volume traded declined by 6.88% and value traded rose by 192.08% to close at 276.04million units and N8,594.67million respectively. Also, TRANSCORP and BUACEMENT recorded the highest volume and value traded respectively.
However, market breadth closed flat at 0.53x due to the gains reported in Nine (9) equities, while Seventeen (17) stocks lost.
The sectorial performance was negative, as only the Insurance 0.45% sector gained. While the Consumer goods 0.04%, Industrial 0.01%, Banking 0.56% and Oil & Gas sectors 0.54% sectors closed with losses.

The average system liquidity declined by 16% to N197.25 billion from its opening position of N233.86billion.
However, the Overnight rate closed at 10.50% while the Open Buy Back rate declined by 5bps to 10.81%.
At the close of market activities, trading at the NTBills market was muted as the average yield closed at 3.67%.
At the Bonds market, trading activities closed at an average yield of 13.28%.
The Naira exchange rate, at the I&E window, depreciated by N0.50k to N461.50/USD from N461.00/USD.
