The Board of Directors of Fidelity Bank Plc (NGX:FIDELITYBK) has announced an interim dividend of 10 kobo per 50 kobo ordinary share for the period June 30, 2022.
The proposed dividend which amounts to nearly N2.9 billion is subject to appropriate withholding tax.
The qualification date for the dividend is September 12, 2022.
On September 20, 2022, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts. Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to do so.
Fidelity Bank Plc’s registrar is First Registrars & Investor Services Limited. The e-dividend form is available on the Registrar’s website and on Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) website.

For the half year ended June 30, 2022, Fidelity Bank Plc’s gross earnings rose to N154.84 billion from N112.3 billion in June 2021. The profit after taxation also increased to N23.31 billion from N19.31 billion in June 2021.
The Proposed dividend payout is 12.43% of the profit after tax.
The share price of Fidelity Bank Plc is trading 4.28% up at N3.17 per share on the floor of the Nigerian Exchange on Wednesday.
Fidelity Bank Plc has 28,974,797,023 outstanding shares.
