The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday reported 108 new cases of Covid-19 across 7 states in the country and FCT bringing the total number of confirmed cases as at 11:30 pm on 23rd April to 981.
Of the 108 cases 78 were reported in Lagos, 14 in FCT, 5 in Ogun, 4 in Gombe, 3 in Akwa Ibom and 1 in Kwara and Plateau respectively.
Of the 981 total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19, 197 have recovered with 31 deaths.

Out of the 36 states in the country and FCT, Covid-19 has been reported in 27 states. Lagos remains the epicentre of the outbreak with 582 cases representing 59.3% of the confirmed cases in the country. Abuja FCT trails Lagos with 133 confirmed cases of Covid-19.
According to John Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center there are 2,703,615 confirmed cases of Covid-19 with 190,490 deaths globally.
