The FA Cup defending champion, Liverpool has crashed out of the competition following a 2-1 defeat by Brighton in the fourth round on Sunday
Liverpool took the lead in the game with Harvey Elliott scoring the first goal of the match in the 30th minute
Harvey Elliott gave Liverpool the lead in the 30th minute with his second FA Cup goal of the season.
Just before the half time, Lewis Dunk gave Brighton a leveler as diverted a long-range shot by Tariq Lamptey into the net.
The winning goal was delivered by Kaoru Mitoma at the 2nd minute of injury time.
Mitoma has now scored four goals in his last six Brighton games.
This win comes two weeks after Brighton beat Liverpoool 3 – 0 in a premier league match.
