Access Holdings Plc trading as Access Corporation (NGX: ACCESSCORP) has announced delay in the publication of the Corporation’s Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2022.
According to a notification published on the Nigerian Exchange on Wednesday, the “delay is occasioned by the need to ascertain the impact of Ghana’s sovereign debt default on the Financial Statements of Access Bank Ghana.”
Access Holdings said it has obtained the approval of the Securities and Exchange Commission for an extension of time till March 31, 2023 for it to file the Audited Financial Statements.
It added that it hopes to resolve the issue soon to enable the submission of the results to the Central Bank of Nigeria and to obtain its approval to publish same.
The Corporation’s insiders are reminded that the earlier declared ciosed period in respect of transaction on its securities remains in place until 24 hours after the release of the results.
