Air Peace says reports circulating online about 100% fare increase across domestic flight routes is false.
The airline stated this in a statement posted on the airline’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday clarifying that the information did not originate from Air Peace.
According to the viral circular which was said to have originated from Air Peace, “effective 1st November 2024, Air Peace would be adding a 100% increase to their fares across all local routes.”
In the statement released on Sunday, dated 26th October, Air Peace stated, “Our attention has been drawn to reports and images circulating online regarding a purported 100% fare increase by Air Peace Limited.
“We would like to categorically state that this information is false and did not originate from Air Peace. We have not released any official statement regarding a fare increase as described, and any announcements regarding our pricing would only be made through our verified channels below.”

Checks on the airline’s website showed that fares for flights between Port Harcourt and Lagos on November 5 was listed as N114,000 for one way and return tickets, as well as between Lagos and Abuja on the same date.
