The Head of IPOB’s (Indigenous People of Biafra) Directorate of States (DOS) Chika Edoziem, Simon Ekpa and 95 others across the country have been declared wanted by the Nigerian Defence Headquarters (DHQ).

The Nigerian Defence Headquarters is the principal headquarters of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
While Chika Edoziem who resides in Switzerland is the Head of Directorate in IPOB’s DOS, which is said to be the highest decision making body of the organisation, Simon Ekpa who resides in Finland is the Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in-Exile (BRGIE).
Both organisations claims Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is in detention in Nigeria undergoing trial as their leader.
Edoziem and Ekpa’s names were published on the Military’s wanted list alongside 95 others from various parts of the country. The names and pictures of the wanted persons were released in a notice on Friday.
In a banner displaying the pictures of the suspects, the Defence Headquarters said it declared 97 persons wanted for terrorism, violent extremism and secessionist threats against the state.
Forty-three suspects were declared wanted in the north-west; 33 in the north-east, and 21 in the north-central and south-east regions.
Both Chika Edoziem and Simon Ekpa are from the South East. Others from the South East are Action One; Egede; Williams Agbo; Zuma; ThankGod; Gentle; Orsu Callistus; Ebuka Nwaka; Informant; Friday; Flavour; David, Mathew, among others.
Those from the north-west region include Abu Fatima; Baba Ngule; Ali Ngule; Mohammad Khalifa; Sani Teacher; Abu Zaida; Baba Data; Modu Sulum; Umar Tella; Abu Mutahid; Abdul Saad; and Ba’a Sadiq.
Some of the suspects from the north-west region include Dogo Gide; Bello Turji; Mahundi Yakubu; Alhaji Shingi; Dogo Nahali; Ado Aliero; Maundi; Dan Bokkolo; Boka; Ladi Yadi; Leko; Nagala, Maman Kabiru, Kinshasa Muktar; Kachalla Rugga; Nasanda; San Dangote; Saidu Idris; Danda; Laibi; and Sani Gurgu.
