Ralf Rangnick has been officially appointed as Interim Manager for Manchester United FC.
In an official statement by the Club, seen by Investogist, the club said it was delighted to appoint Ralf Rangnick as interim manager until the end of the season, subject to work visa requirements.
The statement went further to say that Ralf and the club have also agreed that he will continue in a consultancy role for a further two years.

John Murtough, Manchester United Football Director, said;
Ralf is one of the most respected coaches and innovators in European football. He was our number one candidate for interim manager, reflecting the invaluable leadership and technical skills he will bring from almost four decades of experience in management and coaching.
“Everyone at the club is looking forward to working with him during the season ahead, and then for a further two years in his advisory role.”
Ralf Rangnick said he was excited to be joining Manchester United and that he is focused on making this a successful season for the club.

Beyong that, I look forward to supporting the club’s longer-term goals on a consultancy basis, Rangnick went further to say.
Care-taker Manager, Michael Carrick who had taken over the reigns at the club since Solksjaer left will remain in charge of the first team until Ralf’s work visa is finalised.
Michael Carrick has overseen a 2:0 win in Spain against Villarreal in the UEAFA Champions League and a 1:1 draw against Chelsea in the English Premier League since he took over at the Club.
