Zenith Bank Plc has announced a final dividend of N2.90 per 50 kobo ordinary share, for the financial year ended 31 December, 2022.
This brings the total dividend for the financial year ended December 31, 2022 to N3.20, as the bank paid an interim dividend of N0.30 per share.
The final dividend with a qualification date of April 14, 2022, is subject to appropriate withholding tax and shareholders’ approval at the Annual General Meeting.
The company’s Annual General Meeting will be held at the Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 9:00am.
If approved, the dividend which amounts to N91.05 billion will on May, 2, 2023 be paid electronically to shareholders who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to do so.
Zenith Bank Plc’s registrar is Veritas Registrars Limited. The e-dividend mandate form can be downloaded from the registrar’s website or on the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) website.

Zenith Bank plc reported a 23.5% growth in gross earnings to N945.55 billion from N765.56 billion in 2021.
The profit after tax however dropped to N223.91 from N244.56 billion in 2021.
In 2020, Zenith reported N230.57 billion profit after tax posted in 2020.
Zenith Bank has 31,396,493,786 outstanding shares. The share price is up by 2.4% to N25.6 per share at the time of writing this report.
The 52-week high and low prices are N26.65 and N23.85 per share respectively.
