Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc (STANBIC) has announced a date for the commencement of its closed period for the full year 2021 financial year.
The announcement was contained in a corporate action posted on the Nigerian Exchange, and seen by Investogist.
In the corporate action signed by Chidi Okezie, Company Secretary, STANBIC stated;
In accordance with the provisions of Rule 17.18(b) Rulebook of Nigerian Exchange Limited 2015, Issuers’ Rules, we would like to notify NGX Regulation Limited and the investing public that the closed period for Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC (“the Company”) will commence with effect from 01 December 2021 and the closed period will continue to be in place until the full year 2021 Audited Financial Statements of the Company are released.
The banking group further noted that in accordance with the listings rules of the Nigerian Exchange as well as the Company’s Internal Personal Account Trading Policy, all insiders of the Company (embargoed individuals) have been advised that they are prohibited from trading in the shares of the Company during the closed period.

Pursuant to the above and in accordance with the provisions of Rule 19.2(b) of the Issuers’ Rules , relating to Board Meetings and General Meetings of Issuers, a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to hold on Thursday 03 February 2022 at 10:00am.
The meeting will discuss amongst other items, the Company’s Consolidated and Separate Audited Financial Statements for the year ending 31 December 2021 as well as a proposed dividend.
