The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi visited the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike at his private residence in Port Harcourt, the state capital on Wednesday.
The meeting was held behind closed doors as journalists were not granted access.
The meeting comes four days after Ebonyi State governor, David Umahi who is an All Progressives Congress (APC) member also met Wike behind closed doors.
Obi who was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), dumped the party in May to pursue his presidential ambition under the Labour patry.
Wike lost in the PDP’s presidential primaries to Atiku Abubakar, who emerged as the party’s flag bearer. Atiku last week overlooked Wike and picked Delta State governor Ifeanyi Okowa as his running,
