Manchester City has enjoyed unprecedented success under Guardiola, winning the last four League Cups in addition to the three premier league titles, while also securing the FA Cup in 2019. Last week, City scored its 700th goal of Guardiola’s tenure in just 288 matches.
Since defeat to Tottenham at the end of November, Man City have won 22 and drawn two of our 27 league matches, a run of form that lifted us from 11th in the table to champions of England with three matches remaining.
City’s win at Palace last weekend was its 11th straight away win in the Premier League, equaling the record set by Chelsea in 2008 and City in 2017.
With Carabao Cup already in the bag, there could yet be another thrilling chapter to write this season, with Pep Guardiola’s team playing for UEFA Champions League trophy in a final against Chelsea.
We extend our congratulations to Pep, his backroom staff and all the players on this League triumph.
