There will be no voting in 240 Polling Units (PU) across Nigeria in the forthcoming Presidential/National Assembly and Governorship/State House Assembly elections, with 38 of those in Imo State.

Elections will not be taking place at these units, most of which are the newly created Polling Units, because there are no registered voters at the units.
In a post on its Twitter handle, the Independent National Electoral Commission published a list of the 240 Polling Units across the country with no registered voters and where voting will not take place on 25th February and 11th March, 2023.
The Presidential and National Assembly election will take place on 25th February, while Governorship and State House of Assembly election will take place on 11th March.
A review of the 124 Polling Units by Investogist, shows that Imo State has the highest number with 38 units. Out of the 38 Units, 4 are in Aboh-Mbaise LGA, 1 in Ahiazu Mbaise, 1 in Ezinihite Mbaise, 2 in Ideato North, 1 in Isiala Mbano, 1 in Isu, 1 in Njaba, 5 in Ohaji Egbema, 4 in Orlu, 7 in Orsu, 6 in Oru East, 1 in Owerri Municipal, and 3 in Owerri North LGA.
