AXA Mansard Insurance Plc (NGX: MANSARD) has proposed a dividend of 25 kobo per N2.00k ordinary share for the financial year ended 31 December 2021. The dividend information was contained in a Corporate Actions Announcement published by the Insurer on the Nigerian Exchange.
The dividend is subject to appropriate withholding tax and approval of shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting. The Company’s Annual General Meeting will be held on the 12th of May 2022 at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos at 10:00am.

At the end of trading on Wednesday, the share price of MANSARD closed at N2.16, thus putting the Dividend Yield at 11.57% before withholding tax deduction. A deduction of 10% withholding tax will give each shareholder a Net dividend of 22.5 kobo, thus earning the shareholder a dividend yield of 10.41%.
To qualify for the dividend, the shareholder’s name must appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on April 28th, 2022.
On May 12, 2022, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at April 28th 2022, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, https://www.datamaxgroup.ng/datamaxregistrars/wpcontent/uploads/2021/05/MAND-FOR-DIVI PAYMT-DATAMAX-NEW-1.pdf, which is also available on their website: www.datamaxgroup.ng complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
Shareholders with unclaimed dividends that have remained unclaimed are advised to complete the e-dividend registration or contact the Registrar.
