Dangote Cement Plc has issued a notice of board meeting to consider the company’s “audited financial statements” and the “recommendation of dividend” for the period ended 31 December 2020.
The meeting of the Board of Directors of Dangote Cement Plc will be held on February 25, 2021.
The company also announced the commencement of closed period from February 10, 2021 until twenty-four (24) hours after the relevant resolutions taken at the Board meeting, are released to the public.

Consequently, no insider who may at any time possess sensitive information that may materially affect the price of the securities of the Company may deal in the securities of the Company during the Closed Trading Period.
The equity price of Dangote Cement Plc has been flat at N236 per share since 22 January 2021.
The notice signed by Edward Imoedemhe Deputy Company Secretary read “this is to inform the Nigerian Stock Exchange and all investors that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Dangote Cement Plc. will be held on February 25, 2021.
“Matters scheduled for consideration include the audited financial statements, as well as a recommendation of a dividend, for the year ended December 31, 2020. In view of this, Dangote Cement Plc. shall enter a Closed Trading Period from February 10, 2021 until twenty-four (24) hours after the relevant resolutions taken at the Board meeting, are released to the public.
“The Closed Trading Period is applicable to all parties that may at any time possess sensitive information that may materially affect the price of the securities of the Company. Accordingly, no Insider may deal in the securities of the Company during the Closed Trading Period.”
