Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc (NGX: STANBIC) has announced an interim dividend of N4.50 per ordinary share for the half year period ended 30 June, 2026.

The dividend amounting to N71.55 billion is subject to deduction of appropriate withholding tax and regulatory approval. Interim dividend will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as a the close of business on Thursday 15 October 2026.
For the same period in 2025, Stanbic IBTC paid an interim dividend of N2.50 per share.
In line with the Authority granted by Shareholders to the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting held on 16 May 2024, the Board has authorised that Shareholders will have the option of electing to receive their Interim Dividends by way of New Ordinary Shares.
In view of this, and in order to allow ample opportunity for Shareholders who may wish to exercise the option of receiving Scrip Dividend instead of Cash Dividend, the Dividend Payment date in respect of the Interim Dividend will be Friday 13 November 2026.
On the above Payment Date, shareholders who have not elected to receive their Interim Dividend by way of Scrip Dividend, will have their Cash Interim Dividend paid electronically (provided that they have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts).
This Interim Dividend (whether cash or scrip) is only applicable to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at close of business on Thursday 15 October 2026.
Standic IBTC Holdings’ gross earnings increased by 27.15% from N511.45 billion in H1 2025 to N650.31 billion. Profit before tax increased by 40.13%, hitting N341.56 billion against N243.74 billion reported in H1 2025.
Profit after tax on the other hand increased by 38.20% to N239.68 billion, from N173.43 billion in the preceding period.
The Group posted a gross earning of N650.31 billion (H1 2025: N511.45 billion). Earnings per share rose from N10.78 to N14.90.
