Legend Internet Plc (NGX:LEGENDINT) has announced a proposed merger with Spectranet Limited that will combine both companies’ operations under a single entity.
In a press release issued on NGX, the company disclosed that the transaction will see the businesses and operations of both Legend and Spectranet combined under a single unified corporate structure.
The deal follows resolutions passed by Legend’s Board of Directors on 3 October 2025 and by shareholders on 7 November 2025.
The Board expects the merger to deliver revenue growth, cost synergies and long-term value accretion for shareholders.
The merger is subject to approvals from the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). Completion is targeted for Q2 2026.
