Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc (NGX: DANGSUGAR) Board of Directors has announced a final dividend of N1.50 for every share of 50Kobo each for the period ended 31 December 2022.
The proposed dividend is subject to appropriate withholding tax and shareholders’ approval at the company’s next Annual General Meeting.
The proposal followed a profit after tax of N54.74 billion for the period declared by the company with N403.25 billion revenue.
The qualification date for the dividend is Friday, March 24th, 2023.
On September April 15, 2023 the dividend which amounts to N18.22 billion will be paid electronically to shareholders who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to do so.

Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc’s registrar is Veritas Registrars Limited. The e-dividend mandate form can be downloaded from the registrar’s website or on the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) website.
The company has 12,146,878,241 outstanding shares with a market capitalization of N234.43 billion as at close of business on Monday.
The equity price rose 0.52% on Monday to close at N19.3 per share. YTD it is up 19.63%. The 52-week high and low prices are N20.95 and N15.00 per share respectively.
