A rally in cryptocurrencies on Tuesday has extended into Wednesday with Bitcoin rising above $23,000.
The world’s most popular cryptocurrency rose is up 7.6% at $23,425.9 according to the data on Investing.com at the time of writing this report.
The rally in cryptocurrencies comes after crypto lender Celsius filled for bankruptcy.
Bitcoin has been trading in the range of $19,000 to $22,000 recently amid tightening monetary policy and the collapse of TerraUSD stablecoin in May.
The second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum is up 2.05% at $1,541.6. Dogecoin rose 15.67% to $0.076303, while Shiba Inu is up 12.98% at $0.00001305. BNB is gaining 3.91% at $268.3.
The global cryptocurrency market capitalization has regained the $1 trillion mark. It stands at $1.06 trillion according to the data on Coin Market Cap.
