Leaf Investment & Realtors Limited has acquired 1,968,452,614, shares in Oando Plc previously held by Alhaji Dahiru Mangal.
The acquisition was disclosed on Monday by OANDO Plc in a press statement issued on the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
According to the statement, Leaf Investment & Realtors Limited now holds 15.83% of OANDO Plc.
The equity price of OANDO Plc is up by 0.2% at N5.05 on the floor of the Nigerian exchange at the time of this report.
The statement read:
“NOTIFICATION OF ACQUISITION OF SUBSTANTIAL SHARES IN OANDO PLC Lagos, Nigeria – In accordance with Rule 17:13 (a) of the Nigerian Exchange Limited Issuers’ Rules, we hereby announce the acquisition of Alhaji Dahiru Mangal’s interest of 1,968,452,614, shares in Oando PLC by Leaf Investment & Realtors Limited. Based on the above, by Leaf Investment & Realtors Limited now holds 15.83% of Oando PLC.”
