Zenith Bank Plc (NGX: ZENITHBANK) has stated that it expects the audited half-year financial reports of the Bank to be released on or before September 14, 2023.

In a regulatory filing on Friday, the Bank notified its shareholders, the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public of a slight delay in the release of the Audited half-year financial reports by the Bank for the period ended 30 June 2023.
The Bank in the filing signed by Michael Osilama Otu Company Secretary/General Counsel, stated that the delay is to enable the bank attend to some outstanding post audit issues in the course of approval of the financial statements.
The Bank went further to state that it was optimistic that the Audited half-year financial reports will be submitted to the Exchange on or before September 14, 2023.
It expressed regret for any inconveniences the delay in the publication of the financial reports may cause.
The Board of Directors of Zenith Bank Plc had at its meeting on Thursday July 20 2023, approved the payment of an interim dividend for the half year period ended June 30, 2023 alongside the approval for the 2023 half-year Audited Accounts and Financial Statements for the Group for the aforementioned period.
