Seplat Energy Plc has announced an exchange rate of ₦1,358.75 to the US dollar for converting its Q1 2026 interim and special dividends into naira for shareholders who elected to receive payment in the local currency.
The rate, disclosed in a regulatory filing is derived from the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate published by the Central Bank of Nigeria on June 4, 2026, in line with the company’s standard dividend payment procedures.
Seplat, which is dual-listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the London Stock Exchange, declared both an interim dividend and a special dividend for the first quarter of 2026.
The naira conversion applies only to shareholders who opted out of dollar payment.
The company directed shareholders to its April 30, 2026 announcement for the full definition of default currency elections.
