Polls has opened for the Presidential and National Assembly elections in Nigeria.

The much awaited election for the President of Africa’s much populous country is expected to be a neck-to-neck contest between four leading candidates.
Most polls conducted in the run up to the elections projected the candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi to win the Presidential Election.
Nigerians have been urged to come out and exercise their civic rights and do their duty in a peaceful manner.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reiterated that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) will be used for the election.
The Electoral umpire also reiterated that “No PVC No Voting.”
Voting ends at 2.30pm. All voters on queue before 2pm can vote.
Note: For your vote to be valid, fold your ballot paper vertically after casting your vote and ensure that while thumbprinting, the ink does not touch the lines or cross into another box.
