Nascon Allied Industries Plc has announced appointment of Mrs. Aderemi Saka as the new Managing Director, effective December 1, 2025.
Saka’s appointment followed the resignation of the company’s Managing Director, Mr. Thabo Mabe, who is moving on to take up another appointment within the Dangote Group.
The company confirmed the development in an official notice released on November 18, 2025.
According to the notice, the appointment of Mrs. Saka, who was formerly the Deputy Managing Director was applroved by the Board in line with company’s succession plan,
About Mrs. Saka
Mrs. Saka brings more than 26 years of professional experience spanning Nigeria and the United States. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA in International Business from Georgia State University, USA. Her career includes key positions at global Fortune 500 companies such as Verizon Communications, MCI Inc., and American Tower Corporation, where she developed strong competencies in finance, corporate strategy, and risk management.
She joined the Dangote Industries Limited Corporate Strategy team in 2015 before transitioning to NASCON in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer. Her exceptional performance led to her appointment as Deputy Managing Director earlier in February 2025. During her tenure, she was instrumental in strengthening financial performance, improving internal controls, and boosting overall productivity—contributions the company describes as “pivotal” to its recent successes.
In its announcement, the Board expressed appreciation to Mr. Mabe for his service and leadership over the years and wished him success in his new role within the Group. The Board also conveyed strong confidence in Mrs. Saka’s ability to further enhance the company’s governance structure and steer NASCON toward sustained growth.
