On Thursday 14th July, NEM Insurance Plc, Lasaco Assurance Plc and Regency Alliance Insurance Plc all published notifications of their respective Board meetings on the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
NEM Insurance Plc (NGX: NEM) notified the NGX and the investing public that t the Board of Directors’ meeting of NEM Insurance Plc is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 12 noon, to consider
amongst other things, the Unaudited Financial Statements for the 2nd Quarter and half-year ended 30th June 2022 (Unaudited Financial Statements).

In compliance with Rule 17:18 (a): Closed Period Rule of the Exchange, 2015 (Issuers’ Rule) as amended, the Company’s its closed period commenced on July 1, 2022. The closed period shall remain until 24 hours after the Unaudited Financial Statements is announced to the market.
The closed period is applicable to all Directors, Senior Managers and other interested parties that may at any time possess sensitive information that materially affect the price of securities of the Company.
Lasaco Assurance Plc (NGX: LASACO) gave notice that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Lasaco Assurance Plc will be held on the 28th day of July 2022 by l2noon to receive and consider the
following business:
- To receive and consider the Unaudited Accounts and Financial Statements of the Company for the period ended 30th June 2022.
- Any other business
In compliance with NGX amended rules on Closed Period, the closed period for trading in the Company’s shares commenced from Friday, 1st July 2022 and will subsist until 24 hours after the 2022 Q2 UFS is released to NGX and by extension, the general public.
Hence, no Director, person discharging managerial responsibility, employees with sensitive information, advisers and consultants of the Company and their connected persons may directly or indirectly deal in the securities of the Company until the aforementioned results are released to the market.
Regency Alliance Insurance Plc (NGX: REGALINS) on its part gave notice that a meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on Thursday the 28th day of July 2022.
The meeting will amongst other things consider and approve the company’s Unaudited Financial Statements (UFS) for the second quarter ended 30th June 2022.
The closed period for trading in the shares of the Company commenced on 1st July 2022 and will continue until 24 hours after the UFS for the second quarter ended 30th June 2022 is filled via the Exchange’s Issuers’ portal.
