Fidelity Bank Plc (NGX: FIDELITYBK) has declared an interim dividend of 85 kobo for the half year period ended 30 June, 2024.
The Board of Directors proposed that the Interim Dividend of 85 Kobo (H1 2023: 25 Kobo) per ordinary share of 50 Kobo each on the 32,012,211,331 issued ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each be paid to shareholders on the register of shareholding as of the qualification date. Withholding Tax will be deducted at the time of payment.
The qualification date for the interim dividend has been set as Thursday, October 17, 2024.
On Thursday, October 25th 2024, the dividend amounting to N27.2 billion will be paid electronically to Ordinary Shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at the close of business on Thursday, October 17, 2024, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Form, which is available First Registrar’s website, complete and submit to the Registrar, their respective Banks or any Access Bank Plc Branch.
Fidelity Bank Plc posted N512.9 billion gross earnings slightly higher than the N505.3 billion posted in the same period in 2023.
The profit after tax rose marginally to ₦159.8 billion for the half year period, a significant growth from the ₦158.6 billion it posted for the same period in 2023.
Fidelity Bank lost 4.75% of its value to close at N13 per share on Friday on the Nigerian Exchange.
