In accordance with Elon Musk’s announcement in December, Tesla has started accepting Dogecoin for a few merchandize including the Cyberquad for Kids and the Cyberwhistle.

The price of Dogecoin spiked on the news of the cryptocurrency’s acceptance at the Tesla Store.
The Cyberquad for Kids is going for 12,020 doge, while Giga Texas Belt Buckle goes for 835 doge. Another item payable with doge is Cyberwhistle which is going for 300 doge.

Tesla sells apparel, ‘Giga Texas’ belt buckles and mini models of its vehicles as well as quirky limited-edition items such as the ‘Cyberwhistle’, which is modeled after its much-awaited Cybertruck. It recently launched a quad bike ‘Cyberquad’ for kids, also modeled after the truck.
Musk, a cryptocurrency supporter, has often endorsed dogecoin and said it is better for transactions, most recently in an interview to the Time magazine, which named him “Person of the Year” for 2021 on Monday.
On Dec. 14 2021, Reuters reported that the Tesla Inc Chief said the electric carmaker will accept dogecoin as payment for merchandise on a test basis.

According to Coinmarketcap, DOGECOIN price is up 14.42% today following the announcement.
