AM & P Advisory Services has purchased over 55 million units of UAC of Nigeria Plc Shares (NSE ticker – UACN).
This was disclosed in a notification of share dealing by insiders sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange by UACN on Monday.
According to the notification signed by Godwin A. Samuel Company Secretary/Legal adviser, AM & P Advisory Services who has an indirect relationship with group managing director, acquired total of 55.1 million shares of UACN at an average price of N5.68 per share.
The traded stocks at N5.68 per share average price is worth N312.958 million.
The purchases were made on 31 August in three tranches as follows;
- 54,030,858 million shares at N5.75 per share
- 200,542 shares at N5.70 per share
- 868,600 shares at N5.60 per share
The transactions took place at NSE – Lagos Nigeria with ISIN: NGUACN000006.

Between April to August 2020, Blakeney LLP, a major shareholder in UACN sold at least 155 million units of UACN stocks representing 93.45% its stake in the company
At the close of trading on Monday, UACN closed flat at N6.30 per share.
