Fidelity Bank Plc (NSE: FIDELITY) has informed The Nigerian Stock Exchange and the general public that the audit of the Bank’s 2020 Annual Financial Statements has commenced in line the Bank’s corporate governance practice.

According to the corporate release seen by Investogist, the Bank stated that upon completion of the audit, the Audited Statements shall be presented to the Central Bank of Nigeria for approval and thereafter, published in compliance with the provision of The Nigerian Stock Exchange Rule Bool and other relevant statutes and/or regulations.
The Bank said that it expects to publish the Audited Financial Statements for the Year ended December 31, 2020, on or before March 31, 2021.
In addition, the trading window for dealings on the Bank’s shares shall be closed to all insiders from December 1, 2020, until 24 hours after the release of the Bank’s audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2020.
Fidelity reported a Profit of N20.406 billion for the 9 months period ended 30 September, 2020, an improvement on the N19.056 billion reported for the same period in 2019.
