Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC has fixed the reference price for its 2026 Interim Scrip Dividend at ₦159.86 per ordinary share, giving shareholders the figure they need to decide whether to take their dividend in cash or in new shares.
The company announced the price in a press release signed by Group Company Secretary Chidi Okezie.
It follows the Board’s approval of an interim dividend of ₦4.50 per share, which the company first announced on 30 September 2026.
Under the programme’s terms, the reference price is the volume-weighted average price of the company’s shares on the Nigerian Exchange Limited over the five business days starting from the first day the stock traded ex-dividend.
Only shareholders whose names were on the Register of Members as at Thursday, 15 October 2026, are eligible. The company said the allotment of new shares remains subject to all required regulatory approvals.
Shareholders who want shares must complete the Scrip Dividend Form of Election, which is available for download from the company’s announcement or from the Group Company Secretary, the Head of Investor Relations or the Registrars. First Registrars and Investor Services Limited must receive completed forms by close of business on Friday, 6 November 2026.
Shareholders who prefer cash need take no action. Where a valid e-dividend mandate is in place, payment will be credited on Friday, 13 November 2026.
By way of illustration, a holder of 1,000 shares would be due ₦4,500 in dividends, which at the reference price equates to roughly 28 new shares. The company’s statement does not detail how fractional entitlements are treated.
