HBM Nigeria Plc has notified shareholders and the investing public that its trading symbol on the Nigerian Exchange has officially changed from WAPCO to HBMNG, completing the transition that began with the company’s corporate rebrand from Lafarge Africa Plc.
In a notice on NGX, the company confirmed that all shares currently held or previously purchased through various trading platforms will now automatically reflect under the new symbol, HBMNG, with no action required from shareholders.
The company expressed appreciation to its shareholders, Trading Licence Holders, and other stakeholders for their continued support, describing the rebranding as the beginning of a new chapter in its corporate evolution.
The implementation completes the formal transition from the Lafarge Africa identity to HBM Nigeria Plc across the Nigerian capital market, ensuring that future trading, disclosures, and market communications will be conducted under the new corporate name and ticker symbol HBMNG.
