The Board of Directors of United Capital Plc (NGX: UCAP) has approved the payment of a final dividend for the 2022 financial year.
The Board gave the approval at its Board meeting held on Friday, February 24, 2023.

The information of the approval was given in a statement released on the Nigerian Exchange Limited signed by Leo Okafor, the Company Secretary.

APPROVAL OF THE COMPANY’S AUDITED ACCOUNTS AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AS AT DECEMBER 31, 2022
Pursuant to the post-listing requirements of Nigerian Exchange Limited (the “Exchange”), United Capital Plc (the “Company”) hereby informs the investing public that at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company which held on Friday, February 24, 2023, the Audited Financial Statements for the financial year ended December 31, 2022 (“2022 AFS”) were considered and approved. The proposal for declaration of a final dividend for the 2022 financial year was also approved.
The 2022 AFS will be filed with the Exchange on or before March 1, 2023 in line with the Company’s option to file its AFS within 60 days from the end of its financial year.
Accordingly, the closed period for trading the securities of the Company which commenced on January 1, 2023 will continue until twenty-four (24) hours after the filing of the 2022 AFS.
