Hence, Year-To-Date, it decreased to 38.66%.
The top gainers were LEARNAFRICA 10.00%, MECURE 10.00%, NNFM 9.90%, and CADBURY 9.78%.
Trading activities was mixed as the total volume traded increased 37.09% while value traded moderated by 26.07% to close at 491.40 million units and N3.22 billion respectively. Also, UNITYBNK and VFDGROUP were the most traded stock by volume and value respectively.
In addition, market breadth closed positive at 5.25x as a result of the Forty– two (42) gainers and Eight (8) decliners.
Fixed Income Market
The average system liquidity eased to a net short position of N97 billion from its opening net short position of N136 billion.
At the interbank market, both the Open Buy Back and Overnight rate declined by 17bps and 4bps to close at 22.93% and 23.83% respectively.
The NTBills market closed flat as average yields remained at 12.30%.
Similarly, the Bond market closed flat as the average yields settled at 16.05%.
FX Market
At the NAFEM window naira depreciated by NGN80.83/USD against the Dollar to close at NGN830.97/USD from NGN750.14/USD.
