Regency Alliance Insurance Plc is set to issue another share bonus to its shareholders, barely a year after its last round of bonuses.

In a corporate action announcement on Wednesday, the Insurer announced a proposal of one new share for every three ordinary shares held (1 for 3).
The proposed share bonus is for the period ended 31st December 2024, and its qualification date has been set as 10th October 2025.
Date for the disbursement of the share bonuses is yet to be made known by the company.
Investogist reported in August 2024, the announcement by Regency Alliance Insurance’s proposal to issue 4 for 5bonus shares. Shareholders who held shares of the insurer as at 4th day of October 2024.
The 4 for 5 share bonus was recently credited to shareholders who qualified for it.

Regency Alliance Insurance Plc (‘’the Company’’) was incorporated in Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Decree 1990 as Regency Insurance Company Limited on the 16th day of June 1993 and was licensed by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) to underwrite all classes of Non-Life insurance business.
On the 11th day of March 2005, the Group obtained license to underwrite Life Insurance business in addition to the Non-Life Insurance business thereby becoming a composite insurance Group.
