Presco Plc (NGX: PRESCO) has announced a delay in filing its Audited Consolidated Financial Statements of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2021 and the Unaudited Financial Statements for 2022 Q1 ended March 31.
The due date for the reports was April 30, 2022.
Presco Plc said the delay in filing was “due to the need to consolidate the financial statements of Presco PLC and Siat Nigeria Limited (SNL), the newly acquired subsidiary of Presco PLC.”
The company said it has “assessed the status of work on the conclusion of the audited financial statements of the Group for the year ended 31 December 2021and the unaudited consolidated financial statements of the Group for the three months ended March 31 2022 and believe that the accounts would be ready for uploading on or before May 17, 2022 and May 18, 2022 respectively.
“The Company’s closed period restricting insiders from transacting in the shares of the Company commenced on January 1, 2022 and wilt continue until 24 hours after the release of the audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2021and the unaudited financial statements for the three months ended March 31, 2022 to the public.
“Accordingly, no Director, employee, person discharging managerial responsibility, advisers, consultants of the Company and their connected persons may directly or indirectly deal in the shares of the Company during the closed period.”
The share price of Presco Plc closed flat at N200.00 per share on Friday. YTD it is up 110.71%.
