Ethan Nwaneri aged just 15 years, 5 months and 23 days has become the youngest player to feature in the English Premier League, beating Liverpool’s Harvey Elliot who set the record when he played an EPL match at the age of 16 years and 30 days.
Nwaneri also became Arsenal’s youngest player surpassing Cesc Fabregas who debuted for Arsenal at the age of 16 years, 5months and 24 days.

The player was brought on in Arsenal’s match against Brentford on Sunday in the 92nd minute of Injury time, to replace Fabio Vieira.

Nwaneri is an attacking midfielder who is known for his flair and his ability to run with the ball at his feet. He likes to operate in the No.10 role, but can play across all the attacking positions.
Ethan Nwaneri who is born to Nigerian parents represents the England U-16s and has also made one cap with the U-17s. He made headlines last year when he scored on his debut for the U-18s as a 14-year-old.
Nwaneri is still on schoolboy terms at Arsenal, but has made rapid progress with the club in recent months.
He started the season with the u18s and impressed throughout pre-season, starring in some friendlies. One of which was against Slough Town, with Rebels boss picking him out as a potential star of the future.
