Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party has picked the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate for the 2023 presidential election.
Atiku confirmed Okowa’s nomination on Thursday at an unveiling event of his running mate held in Abuja.
Atiku said his Vice President must possess qualities to be a president and qualities that could compliment him (Atiku) as a President.
Following the announcement, Okowa will be screened by a committee which has already been setup for the purpose.
