The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced dates for the collection of Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) in all 774 Local Government Offices of the Commission throughout Nigeria.
The commission made the announcement via a press release signed by Festus Okoye Esq, the National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, posted on its Twitter handle.

The press release stated that “The Commission has fixed Monday 12th December 2022 to Sunday 22nd January 2023 as dates for the collection of PVCs in all 774 Local Government Offices of the Commission throughout Nigeria.”
All eligible and valid registrants can collect their PVCs from 9.00am to 3.00pm daily, including Saturdays and Sundays.

The decision on the dates for the collection of PVCs was made after the Commission met on Thursday, 1st December 2022.
The Commission also resolved to devolve PVC collection to the 8,809 Registration Areas/Wards from Friday 6th to Sunday 15th January 2023.
The statement went on to state that Voters who were unable to collect their PVCs at the Local Government Offices of the Commission can do so at the Registration Areas/Electoral Wards from Friday 6th to Sunday 15th January, 2023.
After the 15th of January, the PVC collection exercise will revert to the Local Government Offices, and will continue there until the 23rd of January.
The Presidential and National Assembly elections will hold on the 25th of February, 2023.
