“Oppenheimer” swept the 77th edition of the British Academy Film Awards, popularly known as the BAFTA Awards, which took place on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
The movie took home seven golden BAFTA masks with “Poor Things” taking second place with five wins at the event held at the Royal Festival Hall, situated within London’s Southbank Centre.
According to a post shared on Monday on the X handle, @BAFTA, the event was attended by the President of BAFTA, HRH, The Prince of Wales, K.G. K.T. and also the BAFTA CEO, Jane Millichip, and BAFTA chair, Sara Putt.
