The Debt Management Office (DMO) Nigeria has released the calendar for the issuance of Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) Bonds in the third quarter of 2020.
According to the calendar, there will be three FGN bonds auctions within the quarter, one each in the three months from July to September. The auction dates are 22 July, 19 August and 23 September 2020 with interest rates of 12.50% and 12.98% depending on the maturity date.
Through the bond auctions, FGN plans to raise between N110 billion to N150 billion in July. Whereas it targets N115 billion to N155 billion each in August and September auctions.
